Background
While of royal lineage, Lady Larimar is only distantly related to the largely ceremonial Alexandros dynasty. Her family was, prior to the collapse of our world, nobility overseeing Treno and the surrounding areas. While she is afforded a measure of respect due to this family history, she is not to be taken seriously as a potential throne claimant in the event of Queen Sphene's passing at this time.Lady Larimar was raised in Solution Nine, and as a child showed signs of being an engineering and electrope engraving prodigy. As a teenager, she was given an internship at Origenics to learn from design teams working on regulator technology and research. By the time she turned 18, however, she had allegedly grown uncomfortable with the then-current functions of regulators as it related to memory manipulation, and began to work with the fledgling hactivist collective Oblivion, made up of similarly disillusioned scientists. There have been allegations from Lady Larimar's youth of abuse from the Eutrepe family. The nature of this abuse is not catalogued in Everkeep's records, but it likely contributed to the aforementioned disillusionment and desire to work against the goals of Alexandria. Passive psychographic profiling indicates Lady Larimar is prone to anxiety, fear, and distrust particularly toward Alexandrian authority figures. She is known to pose a significant flight risk, as she did thirty years ago.Once Dimensional Fusion was complete, Lady Larimar fled Everkeep into the lands of the new world. She was not present for the ensuing thirty year temporal effect, meaning that her age from her own perspective is thirty years younger than her age from Everkeep's perspective. Many of her known associates are likely in their fifties or sixties.Information gathered from overseas sources suggests that Lady Larimar traveled from Tulliyollal to Eorzea seeking out a scientist named Iris Blanchimont (see Everkeep datalog entry on Iris Blanchimont). In the employ of Missus Blanchimont, Lady Larimar found romantic fascination with a Hingan woman named Kyana Kato, who heard of Lady Larimar's distant affiliation with the Alexandros dynasty and cast her in the part of a runaway princess. The dissolution of this relationship appears to be minimally impactful, though her alias as @NobodysPrincess indicates a deeper emotional reaction to those events. Also, while abroad, Lady Larimar became convinced Everkeep was dispatching agents to find and return her to her family, despite our lack of ability to do so.Lady Larimar also has taken to working for a newspaper based in Eorzea, the Black Chocobo Courier, as a scientific expert and liaison on Alexandrian culture. She has so far been not dispositive of the current government in this role.Following recent reforms to both regulator technology and the Alexandros dynasty itself in the form of the restored Queen Sphene, Lady Larimar has expressed increasing interest in returning to Alexandria, exemplified by her connection with the Leynet community. Given her history, this return ought to be met with a mixture of interest and trepidation from government officials. Her skills could prove a valuable resource and, on very outdated but still technically relevant grounds, she is an Alexandros and ought be afforded some measure of courtesy. That said, she has also demonstrated a willingness to both defect from Alexandria with our engineering secrets and work actively against the government when motivated on moral grounds to do so. Risk is high that she could be developed as a foreign agent. It is the recommendation of the committee that she be closely monitored while in Alexandrian territory. We can disguise this monitoring as part and parcel with the respect given her as someone of social standing. While her known associates from beyond our reach seem benign, we know too well that the agendas of those on this world may be highly dangerous to Alexandrian society, and Lady Larimar could, wittingly or unwittingly, be advancing such an agenda.Addendum: She is also known to have a fondness for, of all things, gysahl pickles.

Notes
Larimar is very much not a royal. She's not important. She jokes she's the 113th Promise of Alexandria. She's broadly speaking an irrelevant person with an important name. Whatever importance she develops - as a science journalist or an engineer - is earned through her own labors. That's important both to her as a character and to avoid the trap of being too main scenario relevant. That said, her technically-royal status can be a fun thing to play with in certain contexts, usually at her expense.Larimar is available for roleplay of a wide variety of themes, but the player reserves the right to step back from any subject matter at her own discretion. That said, Lara and her player are exceptionally adaptable and able to work within a wide variety of scenarios.
